Dr. Fasse completed her clinical internship training
at the Sullivan Center for Children in Fresno,
where she administered psychological assessments
and conducted individual, group, and family therapy
for both children and adults. During this internship,
Dr. Fasse also completed rotations with a special
day class for emotionally disturbed middle school
students, and with a pediatric neurologist.
Dr. Fasse has treated children, adolescents,
and families at several agencies. As the staff
psychologist at the inpatient Psychiatric Health
Facility of STARS Adolescent Center in San Leandro,
she treated severely emotionally disturbed youth
who were either a danger to themselves or others.
Dr. Fasse also provided treatment to adolescent
clients in a residential drug rehab facility, Daytop
Village in Redwood City. She worked as a therapist
at Erikson School in San Francisco--an alternative
school for emotionally disturbed middle and high
school children. Dr. Fasse also helped to provide
services for the Victims of Crime Compensation
program at LaCheim Children and Family Services
in Oakland. Her extensive experience includes working
with clients from diverse backgrounds who have
experienced various traumas, including child abuse
and domestic violence.
Dr. Fasse is also a certified
domestic violence counselor. She has completed
a 40-hour intensive
training in domestic violence education, prevention
and treatment. Dr. Fasse is currently pursuing further training in the use of Mindfulness & Compassion in Psychotherapy through the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco.
Currently, Dr. Fasse provides
individual
and family therapy in her private
practice. She works with
children as young as three years old, and with
all ages of children and adults.
